Born Oluwaseyi T. Agbeti, Producer Scorp Dezel (pronounced Diesel) is much more than just a beat maker, he’s a creator. He has created beats for well known artist such as, Yung Joc, Young Jeezy, Twista, Rocko, and Hurricane Chris, only naming a few. Born in Berkley, California, Scorp realized at an early age he had an ear for music, and by 14 was putting together concepts that would later drive him to make record producing his business.
Now based out of Atlanta, GA, Scorps first major placement can be found on the second album of hip hop artist Hurricane Chris on a track entitled “secret lovers” featuring Cherish. Scorp says what he loves most about producing is interacting with various artists and creating a sound based on their genre, and personal style.
Also being able to create a beat and seeing how it grows from product development to media promotion. Upcoming projects where you can hear the work that is Scorp Dezel, will be the first two singles off the upcoming Yung Joc album, and also the first single off of Yo Gotti’s album entitled “The Interview,” and Young Jeezy’s upcoming album. Scorp also has a few mix tapes in the works with various artists, where all production will be done by him.
